Cars

I drive a small Nissan it suits me, it's not flashy but it's comfortable.
It has an assortment of gizmos, heated wing mirrors and parking sensors.
It has central locking as most cars do now and I can lock and unlock it from a few yards away.
What I'd really like though is a car that when I press the remote control would wave a flag and shout 'Cooee, I'm over here'. It would save a me lot of time wandering around car parks looking for it.

I hear you. I once panicked as my car wouldn’t open. Then realised it wasn’t mine at all. The red colour confused me.

I had a bright green Nissan Micra for work for 12 years. Best car I ever had. Cost little to run and repair. It was a bright pea green which was excellent to find in a car park:)

Mine's bright yellow. A positive boon in car parks!

Mine does flash its lights at me.

Most times I can only find my car by punching the fob and listening for the “ beep”. A waving flag would be a great idea!

Mine deliberately hides behind other cars to see how good my memory and eyesight are!

My little blue Prius C is fun to find in a parking lot of big pickups and SUVs. Years ago I had a little Toyota Echo. I came out to the parking lot to find a lady trying to get into my car. She had an identical one parked next to mine, and had picked the wrong one. We had a good laugh over that.

This made me smile. When I bought my white Corsa a year ago there hardly seemed to be a white car around. I obviously wasn't looking because there now seem to be so many that I have to click my remote control in the car park and just hope I see the light flashing.

Excellent idea. I want one of those for my car. In the meantime I have a red button on my key fob that sounds the car's alarm. Next best thing I guess.

Our vehicle is a silver Bentley look-alike to make it more recognisable we sprayed the bonnet blue and put apple mac stickers on the rear windscreen.

If I remember correctly, there was an episode of Top Gear where they rigged a car to shoot of a flare when you couldn't recall where you'd parked!

LOL! I once rang the police to tell them my car had been stolen from Morrisons car park, they took all the details and asked if I could get home. 10 minutes later I had to ring them back and tell them that I'd found my car. It was in the same car park but in a completely different place to where I thought I'd left it. I walked past it on the way to the bus stop.

I parked my car in a multi-storey car park then rode the lift down to the store underneath. Came out with several bags of groceries, took the lift up and came out to find an empty space where my car was supposed to be ! Aaaarrrggghhh!!! Thinking I had alighted on the wrong floor, I set off walking, with all those heavy bags, around and around until I realised I was far higher than where I had parked. Took the lift down again and found a security man, reported my car stolen then broke down and cried.
He was so nice, comforted me, took a look at my ticket, then asked which lift I'd used . . I hadn't realised that there were TWO circuits, each accessed by a different lift. He pointed me to the correct lift - 4 floors up, there was my car. And breathe . . .
